Nicole’s love of Picture Books began at a very early age. She can fondly recall getting lost in the vivid imagery of Ezra Jack Keats’ “The Snowy Day”. She was drawn in by Ludwig Bemelmans’ melodic verses in the “Madeline” series, and she desperately wanted to be one of the “twelve girls in two straight lines.” She was fascinated by the friendship that developed between a crocodile and a family, and like everyone else in the house on 88th Street she fell in love with “Lyle The Crocodile” from Bernand Warber’s books. These and many other magnificent picture books inspired a love of reading and storytelling that would remain with Nicole throughout her life. Long after her own childhood she found joy reading with her daughter, nieces and nephews and seeing the magic again through their eyes. Nicole has always been a storyteller, silly song singer, and creative force. Finally, she is sharing her talents and bringing her books to life.
Nicole's passion is to entertain and empower children with her stories. “Hello My Precious Baby Girl” / “Hello My Precious Baby Boy” captures the joy, hope, dreams and love that overflows when a new baby joins a family. It’s a great read from a mother, father, aunt, uncle, grandparent and anyone who has ever fallen in love with a child. “All The Things I Can Be” encourages children to explore different careers and by showing the exciting things they can achieve. “My Feelings” celebrates and validates the wide range of emotions children experience and also reinforces the concept of opposites. "HUG" is a playful journey through a variety of moments and places that are perfect for a hug.
Nicole has enjoyed a successful career in television and special events for over fifteen years. She began her career at Sony Music Entertainment and has freelanced for MTV,Vh1, TNT, A&E and The Food Network. She has worked on three Super Bowl Halftime Shows and directed President Jimmy Carter’s latest audio book “Call To Action” which was nominated for a Grammy. She’s had the pleasure of working with some of her favorite artists like Prince, The Eurythmics, Usher, Elton John, and Tony Bennett. But the biggest stars in Nicole’s world are her husband Corey and their daughter Haven. Nicole is a wife, mother, writer, tennis player, music lover, social butterfly, and pop culture connoisseur. Writing is a passion and a privilege and keeps the child in her smiling.
